Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the provision of car polishing, paint correction, ceramic coating and detailing services ("Services") by Éclat Automobile SARL, 45 Avenue de la Grande Armée, 75116 Paris, France (SIREN 852 471 963), to any client booking an appointment via our website or by phone ("Client", "you").

2. Booking and confirmation

A booking request submitted through our website or booking form is not binding until confirmed by our team by phone or email, typically within one business hour of submission. Confirmed bookings reserve a specific bay and time slot at our Paris studio.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices displayed on our website are in Euros and include French VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%). Prices for standard sedans are shown; SUVs, vans and luxury vehicles are quoted individually at booking or on arrival, based on vehicle size and paint condition. Payment is due upon collection of the vehicle and may be made by card, contactless payment or bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments above €1,000, in accordance with French law.

4. Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage

Prior to beginning any service, our technicians conduct a visual inspection of the vehicle and note any pre-existing damage, such as dents, chips or deep scratches, on a condition report which the Client is asked to review and acknowledge. Éclat Automobile is not responsible for pre-existing damage noted on this report.

5. Service guarantee

Paint correction and ceramic coating services include a 90-day finish guarantee against the reappearance of previously corrected swirl marks under normal driving and washing conditions. This guarantee does not cover new damage caused by improper washing techniques, abrasive materials, or accidents occurring after service.

6. Client obligations

• Provide accurate contact information and arrive at the confirmed appointment time
• Remove personal belongings from the vehicle before drop-off
• Inform our team of any known paint defects, previous repairs or aftermarket coatings
• Collect the vehicle within 48 hours of service completion unless otherwise agreed

7. Limitation of liability

Éclat Automobile's liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the price paid for the specific service concerned, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, where liability is not limited by French law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use of the vehicle.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for EU consumers, are set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably or through mediation shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the Client's country of residence.
